How we source this data
Our directory aggregates veterinary clinic listings from public business records and open data sources across all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Each record includes the clinic name, address, phone number, website, operating hours, and the services it advertises. We normalize hours into a structured weekly schedule so we can identify clinics that are open 24 hours, offer emergency care, or open on Sundays.
How we verify listings
We geocode every address and de-duplicate records that resolve to the same location. Clinics with a verified link back to SpectrumCare, or that have claimed and confirmed their listing, are flagged as verified and surfaced first. Practices can claim their listing to correct hours, services, contact details, and appointment policies; approved corrections override the source data on every page.
Update cadence
The underlying dataset is refreshed on a rolling basis. Each clinic profile shows the snapshot date the listing was last compiled, and verified corrections are applied as soon as they are approved. The current snapshot is dated 2026-06-13. Time-sensitive details such as "open now" are computed live in your browser against each clinic's local timezone.
